COVID has put the brakes on the career aspirations of many jobseekers. But not here at Tritility. Since the UK went into lockdown back in March, we have been fortunate enough to welcome over 40 talented new starters. And we have space for more experienced Energy Consultants and Lead Generators to join us.

So what’s it like starting at Tritility during a pandemic? How do we ensure the safety of our valued team members, and what can you expect as a new starter?

A unique approach to staff development and wellbeing

Here at Tritility, people come first. We’re an accredited Living Wage Employer, with a highly competitive salary and benefits package. Our benefits include fully funded gym membership, health insurance, dental care and optical care, as well as a free, confidential counselling service.

Career development is as important to us as it is to our employees, so we work with each team member to develop a bespoke training and development programme. We also provide fully funded online training courses via Sunderland College.

Is now the time to make a career move?

The short answer is yes, absolutely! We’ve put every possible measure in place to ensure we can work safely, with very little disruption. In fact, our business has continued to grow rapidly over the past few months.

Many of those who started with us back in March have already progressed their careers significantly since joining us.

How are we keeping our people safe?

Safety measures include hand sanitiser and face masks for all staff, a one-way system, desk dividers, daily temperature checks and regular office deep cleaning. We’ve also organised our seating arrangements to enable social distancing.

Those who do need to isolate for a period of time are given individual support to help minimise the impact.

We know that the COVID crisis has the potential to hugely affect people’s mental health. So in addition to offering counselling via our Employee Assistance Programme, we’ve trained a number of our staff members as Mental Health First Aiders.

So if you’re looking to take the next step in your career, but are feeling uncertain about the future, rest assured you’re in safe hands with us. If you want to work for a rapidly-growing company that fully supports your learning, wellbeing and safety, contact our recruitment team today via email or our careers page.
