A three-star accreditation is only given to organisations that truly excel, demonstrating ‘world class’ employee engagement levels.
The annual assessment is one of the best-recognised and most respected methods of measuring employee satisfaction levels in the UK. We now await the next stage, which will reveal the official ‘Top 100 Small Companies to Work For’, in conjunction with The Sunday Times.
Our three-star status means we have achieved a Best Companies Index (BCI) score of 738 or higher, out of a possible score of 1,000 – representing extraordinary levels of engagement. Scores are based on the results of the b-Heard survey, which measures employee wellbeing, pay, benefits, personal growth, team dynamics, leadership and more.
The rigorous assessment process has been developed by Best Companies alongside academics at the university of Plymouth.
A Great Place to Work
When we were established in 2019, our founders Jamie and Jonathan set out to build a positive working culture where people came first. Though we have grown significantly since then, we haven’t lost sight of our mission. We have gained a number of accreditations that recognise our efforts in this regard, including Living Wage Employer Status, a TELCA Diversity Pioneers award and Mindful Employer status.
All our staff have access to Mental Health First Aid, as well as an Employee Assistance Programme, and a range of health and wellbeing benefits. We provide personal development plans for our team members, plus access to free college courses and pathways to leadership. This is combined with a positive, supportive working culture where diversity is celebrated.
