Last year, we were delighted to be awarded 'World Class to Work For' status from Best Companies - the organisation that ranks the UK's best employers. We were also named one of the five best employers in the North East, and one of the 10 best mid-size companies to work for in the UK.
We're delighted to reveal that we have once again been hailed as World Class to Work For, achieving three out of three stars. Best Companies awards this status only to companies who have demonstrated outstanding levels of employee engagement.
Best Companies' rigorous assessment process has established them as one of the most highly respected accreditation programmes in the UK.
When we first gained 'World Class' status in 2021, we pledged not to rest on our laurels. And over the course of the year, we ramped up our employee wellbeing initiatives, increased our training and development offering and created our equality, diversity and inclusion forum. We're delighted that our hard work on employee engagement and wellbeing has led to this prestigious accreditation, but our hard work will continue apace.
Though Best Companies has released its 2022 star ratings, local and national rankings are yet to be published. We hope to make the lists, which will be released shortly. Watch this space!
