Covered in Colour for Charity

On the 10th June, ten members of our team will be taking on the challenge of the 5K Newcastle Color Obstacle Rush, in an effort to raise money for our partner charity, 4Louis.

But this isn’t a regular 5k run – it’s a fun-filled, inflatable obstacle course that guarantees you’ll be covered in vibrant, coloured powder by the end.

All for a Good Cause

Let’s not forget the important reason why we’re taking part in this event – to fundraise for Sunderland based charity, 4Louis.

4Louis supports families who have suffered the loss of a child during pregnancy or shortly after birth by providing memory boxes and other resources to help families during these difficult times.

As well as being our charity partner for 2023, the Color Obstacle Rush themselves are also strong supporters, providing the charity with their own dedicated time slot for the run. This will allow all 300 runners supporting 4Louis to complete the course together.

Making a difference

For Chloe, our Customer Service Advisor who is taking part in the Color Obstacle Rush, this is more than just a fun challenge – it’s a chance to make a difference.

“I wouldn’t miss the color run! Me and my colleagues are taking part in this event because I think it’s important to raise money for charities, especially this one. I don’t think there is enough support or information out there for families that have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirths and any death of a baby or child. 4 Louis provides both support and comfort through their advice and memory boxes which help families work through this awful experience.”

“A color run is an amazing way to do this. It’s fun and an event that really stands out! I can’t wait to be running around covered in every colour with people who are also there to help and support this amazing charity.”

We will be sharing updates and photos from the event on our social media channels, so be sure to follow us to see how the team gets on.
