Half of our operational board of directors are now women – a major milestone in our commitment to diversity and equality.

We’ve been working towards this since we opened our doors in 2019, and it reflects how we run our business.

The female directors on our board are: Sophie Betteridge (Finance Director), Louise Moses (Operations Director) and Zoe Watson (Marketing Director).

Men have long since dominated the energy sector and women haven’t always had a seat at the table, especially in senior roles. However, things are changing, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of that change.

Why Gender Equality in Leadership Matters

When you have the same people on your leadership team, you start to generate the same ideas, day in, day out. As a company on a mission to do things differently, this isn’t something that sits right with us.

Having a balanced leadership team means we’re always bringing fresh ideas to the table, like our decision to open a new office in Leicester. These ideas help us stay ahead of the curve, outshine our competitors, and deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

Jamie Wyatt, Director and Co-Founder of Tritility, said: “As a company that’s been named ‘World Class to Work For’ by Best Companies for three years running, we’ve taken great strides in removing barriers and creating pathways for women to progress.

“However, we know that there’s more work to do. We’re committed to ensuring that everyone at Tritility, regardless of gender, can grow in their roles and become future business leaders.”

What the Future Brings

We’re proud to be a company that supports and nurtures our staff. We’ve worked hard to make sure we’re a place where every voice is heard and valued, and we’re not stopping now.

We’ve always encouraged women to pursue leadership roles within the company through our management training pathways, a range of fully-funded distance learning courses, and high-quality mentorship and support.

We’ll continue to champion diversity and equality as that’s how we’ll build a stronger, more innovative business – for our staff, our clients, and the community.
